Jungian Sandplay Therapy Galway are privileged to have hosted and attended the only certified training in Ireland by the Association of Sandplay Therapy (AST). AST was originally founded by Barbara Turner and training in Galway was delivered by the President of AST Eunice Stagg MA, RST Sandplay Therapist, Supervisor & Trainer, BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist.
At Jungian Sandplay Galway we believe that, central to creating the above safe and protected space, it is essential that we have deeply experienced our own Sandplay processes. We continue to engage in personal therapy and attend regular supervision with AST approved Sandplay Consultants. Our CPD includes attending Sandplay and Jungian psychology courses, seminars and group meetings. Since 2007 we have gained an extensive knowledge of Jungian archetypal symbolism, and have had the privilege to witness many sandtrays with adults, children and adolescents.
